Beautiful work! I am in LOVE with both your cyanotype and linen books. I’m creating a handmade cyanotype book, and was looking around on the Internet when I came across these lovely images How did you make your negatives? I am currently enlarging 35mm images onto ortho film to make positive transparencies, and then making negatives from the positives by contact printing…it’s a long process, but ultimately worth it. I am a senior in high school, and I’m planning to apply to art school. I love film photography and alternative processes!
Cheers,
Jocelyn
Jocelyn,
Thanks! I made most of the images with a library photocopier and made ortho transparencies from that and a few of the images are digital scans and transparencies. I’ve really liked the quality of the ortho, though.
I hope you find the right school. I’m coming up on my senior year at art school and it has been the best.
